Footrise keeps football predictions organized in a few clear steps: join a league, predict scores before kickoff, earn points and follow the rankings.
A league is where the competition happens. It can be open to everyone or private, only for people with an invite code.
Choose it from the list and start competing with other Footrise users right away.
Enter a code from a friend and join a closed group.
Create a league, choose competitions and invite friends to predict together.
On the match list, choose the exact home and away score. You can edit your prediction until one hour before kickoff, then it gets locked.
Mark a prediction with the flame icon. If that prediction scores points, the points are doubled.
This keeps the rules fair for everyone and lets the app calculate points automatically after the match ends.
Once predictions are closed, a magnifier appears in the top-right of the match card. Tap it to see the top 5 most popular predictions, hit statistics, and predictions from other users.
Points come from a base score for the correct result plus bonuses for precision. A Hot Pick doubles the final points for the selected match.
3 points for correctly predicting the winner or a draw.
One extra point if the goal difference is correct.
One extra point if you predict the exact score.
Doubles match points, but every competition has a limited number of uses.
10 points for correctly picking the team that wins the whole competition.
Before the season starts, choose the team you think will win the whole competition. This pick is shared across all leagues in that season, so you set it only once. After the season is settled, a correct pick adds a bonus to the rankings.
After finished matches, your score updates user stats and rankings. You can follow short-term form, yearly performance and league battles with friends.
Shows form in a selected month, regardless of season.
Sums points earned across the calendar year.
Counts only points earned in a specific league you compete in.
Total points decide the place. When two players have the same points, we check the components in the following order:
Sum from all predictions + season-winner bonus if you predicted one.
More perfectly-predicted scores (e.g. 2:1) ranks higher.
Predictions with correct goal difference but not the exact score.
Just the outcome correct (win / draw / loss).
Top results can appear in the user's trophy cabinet.
